Many entry points are unmanned, with the operator located in a control room or dispatch center some distance away. Digital Acoustics IP intercoms perform reliably outdoors and connect instantly to a remote operator over the network. Built-in relay control lets the operator open and close the gate directly from the same system, or integrate with existing access control so a verified exchange triggers gate release automatically.

Operators work from one interface whether communicating with a driver at the scale, at the gate, or both, with full gate control built in. The system scales as the operation grows. Integration with your phone system and gate control. Digital Acoustics IP intercoms support SIP 2.0 as a standard feature, connecting directly into existing VoIP phone systems. Operators can communicate with drivers from a desk phone and open or close the gate with the push of a button on their handset.
Simplified installation with PoE. Power over Ethernet means any location with a network connection can support an intercom, with no separate power source required. For remote gate posts and scale islands where running electrical conduit is expensive, this is a meaningful reduction in installation cost and complexity.
Scalability and central management. Add a new gate or scale position by adding an endpoint to the network and configuring it in TalkMaster™ FOCUS, with no new dedicated wiring or parallel systems.
